The 2022 Joint Annual Training Day took place in person at our White City, London campus at the end of September. This was a wonderful chance to celebrate the research of our Early Career researchers' and PhD students' along with an opportunity to network.
In addition to hearing about the excellent research taking place, we heard from our Partners at King's College London, the MRC Toxicology Unit at the University of Cambridge, and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), plus had the benefit of an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion component.
The day ended with a wonderful talk from our keynote speaker, Dame Professor Jenny Harries, Chief Executive of UKHSA. Many attendees commented on how enjoyable it was to interact in person along with how good the variety of research was, both for the presentation and poster sessions.
