Research reveals antibodies fall rapidly following coronavirus infection

The latest figures from the REal-time Assessment of Community Transmission (REACT) study found that antibiodies dropped following coronavirus infection, with the number of people testing positive for antibodies falling by 26% between June and September 2020, as reported in The BBC. Professor Paul Elliott noted the importance of refraining from concrete conclusions regarding a possible vaccine, based on this study, and reiterated that there might be differences in a vaccine’s response, yet to be seen.
